Join the giving movement and change the meaning of giving this holiday season! Give the gift of support this Giving Tuesday. Giving Tuesday is a global day of giving that harnesses the collective power of individuals, communities, and organizations to encourage philanthropy and to celebrate generosity worldwide.

Giving Tuesday is held annually on the Tuesday after Thanksgiving to kick-off the holiday giving season and inspire people to collaborate in improving their local communities and to give back in impactful ways to charities and causes they support.

Telling you that Detroit has an unsustainable trash problem likely isn't surprising.  But what may be is our sustainable solution.  It's schoolchildren.  From preschoolers to high schoolers.

We're Green Living Science, a non-profit that teaches Detroit's students about recycling and the environment.  And what you can do to make a difference.  Students use their learning to bring green living home.  To inspire their families, neighborhoods, and city.   We invite you to learn more about our mission, connect and get involved.  Because together, we can transform Detroit.
