Detroit Partnership Day - Saturday, April 13th - 10am to 3pm
Location: Lincoln Street Art Park - 5926 Lincoln Street Detroit 48208 -
Details: During this event we will be collaborating with University of Michigan to prep the art park with gardening, garbage clean up, and classroom activity prep!
MSU Science Festival - Sunday, April 14th - Time TBD
Location: Belle Isle Nature Center -
Details: During this event we will be hosting a table at the MSU Science Festival where we engage families in activities focused on environmental awareness!
Department Parks and Rec - Earth Day Event - Saturday, April 20th - 10am to 2pm
Location: Heilmann Recreation Center 19601 Crusade St, Detroit, MI 48205
Details: During this event we will be hosting a table to sign up Detroit households for FREE recycling carts! We will also engage families in crafts focused on environmental awareness!
GLS Earth Day Celebration - Thursday, April 25th - 830am to 215pm
Location: Recycle Here Campus - 1331 Holden Street
Details: This is our annual Earth Day Celebration where we host nearly 750 fourth grade students from Detroit Public Schools! We are accepting LARGE groups of volunteers to assist with this event, if your place of work is interested please contact us to bring the whole crew!
Detroit Zoo Green Fest - Saturday, April 27th - 10am to 3pm
Location: Detroit Zoo - 8450 W 10 Mile Rd, Royal Oak, MI 48067
Details: During this event we will be hosting a table to engage families in crafts and activities focused on environmental awareness! It will be most convenient to park in the lot off 10 Mile Road, as it is closest to the main entrance. Zoo staff at the admissions gate will have a list of names and organizations, and once you are checked in you will be waived of parking and admission fees.
